Best Hydrating Eye Creams

These are the four best hydrating eye creams in my opinion. I get asked all the time about the best eye cream- which makes sense because the first signs of aging usually show up around our eyes. Sadly no eye cream is really going to improve dark circles or hollows (side note: eye patches like these Amazon eye patches can temporarily improve that darkness/hollowness). But the following eye creams are the best hydrating eye creams that will leave you with lasting hydration and help improve fine lines around your eyes with regular use (morning and night).

My number one best all-around hydrating eye cream is the Tatcha Ageless Eye Cream. It is hard to find. You can really only get it on the Tatcha website but this overall will make a huge difference in your crows’ feet and overall hydration of the eye area.

I’ve linked the Tatcha Ageless Eye Cream here.

My number two best hydrating eye cream is an under $50 option: the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Serum. This really is more of a cream than an eye serum and you still see that hydration when you wake up the next morning. Don’t be concerned about its label as an “overnight eye serum”- I also use the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Serum during the day and it works well under makeup for all-day hydration. Overall I have been very impressed with the whole Summer Fridays Jet Lag Line (especially at this pretty affordable price point!). I have used the Jet Lag Masque for years (great for overnight flights or just a general hydration mask) and I’m loving the new Jet Lag Skin Soothing Hydration Mist. I keep it at my desk and want to mist it all day long! It is one of the few hydration mists I’ve tried that leaves lasting hydration (never tightness after it evaporates) and it leaves a beautiful glow to your skin. Love. But anyway, back to eye creams….

Number three this is Rhonda Allison Eye and Lip Serum. I get this from my facialist in Houston, Deborah Michaelson (she is at Bella Rinova in River Oaks District). The Rhonda Allison is a strange, lip gloss consistency but hear me out: if you dab it on your crows feet area before bed, it makes a huge difference in reducing fine lines! I’ve been through multiple jars of this. I usually apply a regular eye cream all over, let that absorb a bit, and then tap the Rhonda Allison just on the crows’ feet area.

The last one is the classic Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment. It doesn’t have a lot of active anti-aging properties (sometimes that is a good thing! Especially if you have been using a lot of actives (like retinol or AHAs) and your skin is sensitized. But the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment excels at gentle hydration. You can even put a thick layer of it on as an under eye treatment mask (I’ve seen people layer it under saran wrap as an occlusive barrier when using it as a mask!)
