Look for Less: Oscar de la Renta Tassel Earrings

I know this is technically a beauty blog, but I hope you don’t mind when I post about fashion trends! I especially enjoy posting about accessories because I think they bridge the gap between beauty and fashion. Particularly earrings and necklaces, which are right next to yo’ face.
Anyway, I’ve been eyeing these $400 Oscar de la Renta seed bead tassel earrings for awhile (Photo from The Style Scribe):
Then, the other day my fashion-forward friend Molly was sporting these “inspired by” tassel earrings from Kate Spade Saturday:
A steal at $40! (And I noticed that Kate Spade Saturday.com gives you 15% off your first order if you sign up for their email list.) My friend Molly got the black and the white pair, and she said she gets compliments all the time.
I bought the neon coral pair, but I REALLY wanted the neon yellow pair! (They did not have the yellow at the Houston Rice Village store). You know how I’ve been obsessed with yellow lately.
I actually bought the beaded tassel earrings to go with a long, black formal gown for a gala tonight, but they will look cute all summer with casual dresses too. I LOVE this ruffled sleeve dress, also from Saturday Kate Spade. Perfect for wedding/baby showers or a hot summer date night:
And then I fell in love with the blush colored mules they had in the dressing room. I never would have picked these out online, but these mules were SO cute on. Another Nineties trend- check!
But I digress. My point was that you can find an affordable dupe for those Oscar de la Renta tassel earrings.
