Want Me To Be Your Makeup Personal Shopper?

I’ve gotten a lot of half-joking requests that I should offer makeup “personal shopper” services- i.e. that I would go with you to the makeup store to visit all the different counters and help you pick which products and shades would work best for your individual skin type and coloring. Well here’s your chance!
Come to Saks at the Houston Galleria (map) on Thursday, February 20th at 6:30 p.m. to hear panelists (including a beauty editor from Allure Magazine and Josie Natori) tell you about Spring 2014 beauty trends while you enjoy wine and light bites.
After the panel, I will be on hand to give unbiased, one-on-one beauty advice using my encyclopedic knowledge of all the makeup lines Saks carries (seriously, quiz me!) I am SO excited to answer your beauty questions, to show you my favorite, must-have products, and to give individualized advice on the products and shades that will work best for YOU!!
You have to buy a ticket to come (RSVPHouston@s5a.com). It costs $100, but they give you a $100 gift card to spend on products at the event. So it’s more like you are committing to spend $100 on products at the event. Oh, and I’m not getting paid or anything– basically I will be there to sip wine with the girls and gab about makeup (two of my core competencies and favorite pastimes!)
Need ideas on how to spend that $100? REALLY?!? What about the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer that I rated the best under eye concealer.
Or that fabulous La Prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Cream that made my lines disappear overnight:
