Best Black Friday Beauty Deals
11 • 26 • 2015
I know you are inundated with blogger Black Friday sale picks right now, but the crazy holiday shopping days are actually the BEST time to stock up on your usual makeup and skincare products (oh, and maybe find a gift or two). I scoured the internets and personally braved the crowds at two Sephoras and an Ulta to find you the FIVE best Black Friday beauty deals. Happy shopping!
butter LONDON ‘Lip Service’ Lippy Set:
I just ordered this for myself on Amazon Prime and I’m SO excited to try it! These are four FULL-SIZE Lippy liquid lipstick/lip glosses for $29 (full price would be $72!!) I already have the ‘Toff’ shade and I absolutely love everything about it. I would describe it as a perfect mauvey-nude shade, and the formula is more like a super-pigmented gloss than a liquid lipstick. The staying power and moisture of this product is excellent! I’m so excited to try the “Tea With The Queen” shade too. Shades in the set include:
–Toff (dark rose pink crème)
– Tea with the Queen (pinkish tan crème)
– Pudding (rosy pink crème)
– Fruit Cake (berry crème)
Available for $29 on Amazon Prime here or at Nordstrom here.
20% Off at Nars.com (11/27 – 12/2) :
This is the time to stock up on your favorite Nars products at 20% off at narscosmetics.com! Personally I am almost out of my Holy Grail under eye concealer, the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (in Vanilla). I compared a ton of different under eye concealers in a post here and the Nars came out on top. More recently I did a new experiment to test the coverage of the Nars against some newer concealers that have been released, and the Nars STILL won, hands down. No, the new Urban Decay Naked Concealer is not better than the Nars.
I regularly wear a lot of Nars cosmetics, but my favorite products from the line are the Orgasm blush, Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella, and the Sheer Glow Foundation (I wear shade Deauville). Free shipping on orders over $50.
Urban Decay ‘Naked On The Run’ Palette:
Act fast on this one, because at almost half off, I bet Ulta will run out! The Urban Decay Naked On The Run palette is marked down from $54 to $32 at Ulta!! This palette is one of those rare unicorns where all the colors are actually useable and good. And I believe that the Urban Decay eyeshadows are the best on the market, period. Great pigmentation, looks smooth (not dry), and does not cause flakey fall out as you are applying it.
The palette includes a FULL-SIZE Naked lipgloss, and also the following products:
- Eyeshadow: Dive (metallic rose w/golden micro-shimmer), Fix (soft taupe matte), Resist (medium metallic taupe), Dare (medium brown matte), Stun (metallic bronze w/light gold micro-shimmer) and 5050 (cool bisque satin) (5 x 0.04 oz./ 1 x 0.07 oz.)
- Bronzer: medium bronze matte (0.3 oz.)
- Blush: vibrant pink w/light shimmer (0.3 oz.)
- Perversion Mascara: blackest black (0.13 fl. oz.)
- 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil: Stag (deep brown satin) (0.03 oz.)
- Naked Lipgloss: Sesso (rose w/pink shimmer) (0.13 oz.)
Set of 2 Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray:
This is such a good deal!! I swear by this Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray to set my makeup– it REALLY makes a difference in the wear time of my foundation! Trust me, I did not believe it would do anything, but it works so well that I now get panicky when I leave home and realize I forgot to spray it. Usually the full size 4.0 oz bottle is $30, but with this duo you get TWO 4.0 oz bottles for $39! Stock up, ladies!
25% Off at Tarte.com with code FRIDAY!
Lately I’ve been using Too Faced Endless Summer 16-Hour Bronzer, but I’ve decided that I like Tarte’s Park Avenue Princess bronzer better. The shade is just soooo perfect for my pale skin and never looks muddy or too shimmery. Now I will be sure to buy two of my fave bronzer ever because everything is 25% off! Other standouts from the Tarte Cosmetics line are the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara and their 16-Hour Amazonian Clay Blush (I’m partial to the shade Dollface).
Happy holidays and happy shopping!
xoxo,
